The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says that senior drivers have as many fatal crashes as 16 to 19-year-olds. In these deadly crashes, seniors were hit two times more than the teenage group. For 22 percent of these accidents, older drivers were turning left and died. Decreasing field of vision and slower reflex times cause seniors to be more susceptible to accidents.<\/p>\n
