Eight people were sent to hospital as a result of two Metro buses in Washington, DC, being rear-ended the same day. The first smack-up was in the morning, during rush hour, when the first bus was rear-ended by a truck. There were several passengers on the morning bus that complained of neck and back pain, but their injuries were not classified as life threatening.<\/p>\n
The second collision was also caused by a vehicle slamming into the back of a stopped Metro bus during the evening rush hour. Another eight were taken to the nearest medical facility for checkups. Both accidents will be fully investigated.<\/p>\n
