Health insurance companies would likely do a whole lot better when it comes to customer relations if they\u2019d just take the time to point out to their customers what they \u201care\u201d getting in their health insurance contract \u2013 and \u2013 what they are \u201cnot\u201d getting. It only makes sense to find out what you are not covered for so you can make the decision to either get a different policy or up your coverage.<\/p>\n
Never take the policy at face value and \u201cassume\u201d anything. Unless you know for sure what it says, you may find out later that your interpretation wasn\u2019t the right one and the health insurance company that sold you the policy will shrug its shoulders and say: \u201cWe told you to read the policy.\u201d They may just have a valid point.
