An unlicensed and allegedly drunk hit-and-run driver struck and killed a Queens food deliveryman has he pedaled his bike on his way home from work. Witnesses called 911. The cyclist was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim was a 32-year-old father of three young children.<\/p>\n
Approximately four hours later, police located the negligent driver at an auto repair shop. Police said he was clearly intoxicated, but refused to take a breathalyzer test. He was arrested and charged with driving while impaired, aggravated unlicensed driving, refusal to take a breath test, and driving a vehicle without an interlock device.<\/p>\n
The fact that he has been charged with driving a vehicle that doesn\u2019t have an interlock device reveals that he has had at least one prior DWI conviction.
