An Illinois family was stopped at an intersection with a turn signal on when their F-150 was rear-ended by a Nissan Versa. The impact caused the F-150 to spin into oncoming traffic, where it was T-boned by a Ford Expedition. A teen passenger was rescued by Good Samaritans and airlifted to the hospital in serious condition. Her parents were unable to be rescued before their vehicle became engulfed in flames. The Nissan driver and a passenger in the Expedition were airlifted to the hospital in serious condition; the SUVs driver suffered minor injuries.
