Clients always ask which assets should go into the revocable living trust. \u00a0One of the assets that there is always a question about is EE Bonds.<\/p>\n
EE Bonds are placed in the trust by re-issuing the bonds in the name of the trust. \u00a0 This can be done a treasurydirect.gov, which is a service of the Federal Government.<\/p>\n
You go on line to the site, then type in the information and name of the trust, then they’ll send you the re-issued bonds.<\/p>\n
