“Without putting too fine a point on it, dissolution is a simple way to file for a divorce in Ohio,” explained Jeremiah Denslow of Denslow Law<\/a> in Dayton, Ohio<\/a>. “And there are a number of ways for the petitioner to qualify for a divorce or dissolution.”<\/p>\n The first thing that must be addressed prior to filing for a dissolution or divorce is that the person filing must have lived in Ohio for a minimum of 6 months. They must have also lived in the county where they file for a minimum period of 90 days prior to filing a petition.<\/p>\n “In the case of a dissolution, the petition must be signed by both parties and there also has to be a separation agreement attached,” said Denslow.
