It won\u2019t surprise too many people to find out that the deceased in this case died of a lung tumor, thanks to an organ transplant of the diseased lungs of a heavy smoker. What were people thinking? The 27-year-old woman died about a year and a half later after the surgery, as a result of a malignant mass in her lungs. Her family and her new husband wanted to know why they were not told about the smoking history of the donor, a fact that would have allowed the recipient to make an informed choice as to whether or not to proceed with the operation.<\/p>\n
