The hearing concerned GTECH’s claim that it is immune from suit as a government contractor. Judge Meachum quizzed the lawyers about the legal issues and announced that she would take the matter under advisement but would rule on it without delay. That means that she will likely review the briefs and the applicable case law and then issue her ruling. While we don’t know exactly how much time that will take we would expect a ruling in the coming week.
