It has been a busy April for the attorneys at Begley Law Group. During the month, they attended and presented at several important national and regional Elder Law gatherings.
At the Special Needs Alliance Spring Meeting, April 15th and 16th in Washington, D.C. attorneys Kristen L. Behrens and Tom Begley, Jr. attended presentations from the Social Security Administration and Easter Seals on the Affordable Care Act. They also took the opportunity to participate in Hill Day where members of the Alliance get the chance to visit with their Congressmen and Senators to hear more about policy-making that affects their clients.
Also on April 16th, attorney Dana E. Bookbinder and Marketing Director Sonia Cohen attended an event to honor National Healthcare Decisions Day. Representing Begley Law Group, they prepared Health Care Powers of Attorney on the spot for those who attended and were interested in setting up these important documents.
Lastly on April 18th and 19th Tom Begley and Dana Bookbinder attended the New Jersey Elder Law Retreat, which was held in Long Branch, NJ. Tom was a featured presenter, speaking about the Future of Elder and Disability Law.
