The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has released the 2013 daily co-insurance amounts for skilled nursing care services, in addition to the inpatient hospital deductible amount.

The inpatient hospital deductible will be $1,184, increased by $28 from 2012. The daily co-insurance amount will be $296 for the 61st through 90th day of hospitalization in a benefit period. For the 21st through 100th day of extended care services it will be $148 in a skilled nursing facility in a benefit period.

In 2013 the standard monthly Part B premium rate for all enrollees is $104.90, an increase of $5 from 2012. The Part B deductible will be $147 for all part B beneficiaries.
