It sounded like a good plan to have health care reform on the go by Labor Day. It didn’t happen though.
It will be interesting to see what happens this month when the House sits, as there are numerous issues floating around that may mean even more delays for the implementation of health care reform. To say that the general population isn’t so happy with some of the proposed changes is an understatement.
The leading issue seems to be the “public plan” health insurance that would be available to those who had absolutely no other health insurance options. Some people think this is a great idea, but others figure it’s a government takeover, and that would not be good. What do you think?
